The Grand Ledge Opera House has capacity for up to 240 people. It is the location
where people can fulfill their own vision for weddings and other events. They can
choose to book Grand Hall (capacity 240), or the Terrace Level (capacity 140) which
includes the picturesque garden and patio area along the banks of the Grand River.
The décor scheme is up to the client. The Opera House provides and sets the tables and
chairs as well as takes care of the clean-up at the end of the event. They will also have
an Activity Host on duty through-out your event. Clients have the flexibility to choose
their own caterer (the website provides some suggestions if needed) or you can bring in
food from that which is prepared in any licensed kitchen. Havey says many times

Alcoholic beverages are also permitted with clients providing a certified bartender.

Recognized as a state historic site in 1995, this nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization receives
no public funding. Instead, the Opera House hosts over 400 events yearly with an
estimated 38,000 attendees for support. It also receives donations, and as a part of its
mission also supports the Grand Ledge community with reduced rental rates, donations
to local charities and free meeting space in the Blake Room.
