Multi-talented, madly creative, totally committed to inspiring others through visual art,
performing arts, writing and mentorship, Julian Van Dyke is a revelation.

Well known in mid-Michigan, the Great Lakes State and by art collectors everywhere, Van Dyke
continues to make his mark.

Right now, he’s studying for his role in a new production at Riverwalk Theater, Lansing.

“The Exonerated” directed by Alan Greenberg with scheduled performances February

His character in the play is a death row prisoner revealing raw emotions that Van Dyke says
feel parallel to those of people in the 70’s and 80’s. It’s a compelling, must-see performance.

Van Dyke is also busy writing a children’s book for kids third grade and under. The
planned book release is before this year’s Juneteenth.

People lucky enough to live in the greater Lansing area or here visiting have an
opportunity to see sixty works of art created by Van Dyke at the Capital Area District
Library where three of his current books area available.

The Greater Lansing Literacy Commission is also a passion of Van Dyke’s. He likes to

help kids develop reading readiness so they can explore the world and their interests.
